Berdasarkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional ( RJMPN ) 2015 \u2013 2019, salah satu sasaran perdagangan luar negri yang diharapkan dicapai adalah pertumbuhan ekspor produkk non migas mencapai pada tahun 2015 \u2013 2019 dapat mencapai berturut-turut 8%, 9,9%, 11,9%, 13,7%, dan 14,3%. Pertumbuhan ekspor merupakan salah satu kunci pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia.
