Objective of the Association

AP5I formed with the aim to:

• Bringing all activities of Fishery Products Processing and Marketing in Indonesia in a receptacle that will fight for members and encourage efforts to increase cooperation with and between members.

• Being a liaison receptacle Fishery Products Processing and Marketing by the Government and other agencies both domestically and abroad, such as Raw Material Procurement, Production, Marketing, and Human Resources, which acquired resistance to, improved efficiency and increased competitiveness.
• Aligning the interests of Employers and the Government in improving the quality, safety and environmentally friendly as well as other efforts is beneficial.
• Provide advices and input to government and other Organizations in order to improve the image of Indonesian archipelago in any respect.
• Develop the very big potential of natural resources and marine fisheries with the Government and other stakeholders to increase public welfare.
• As the Government’s counter part in improving international harmonization in facing global competition.
